| We're so proud of our new piece of kit... the MRZB
A fully hydraulic drilling rig with adjustable all-terrain caterpillar tracks which can be retracted to a width of just 760mm. Its high impact Lifton hammer and 21 ton lift extruder make it ideal for professionals who regularly carry out window sampling investigations, geotechnical sampling, undisturbed liner sampling and environmental investigations to depths of up to 20m. And, it can be easily transported on a standard trailer or in the back of a transit-sized van. |

| And the winner is...
Mark Renfrey from Entec UK Ltd Mark responded to our online request for feedback on the format of our website (should we change our Home Page) and his name went into a draw for a case of wine. The responses from the survey resulted in a ratio of 2:1 in favour of change. Already we have improved it but urge you to keep visiting www.vanwalt.com to monitor future developments and when we will be running our next competition. You never know what you might win next time! Thank you once again to everyone who took part. |

| Forget about the 'Global Financial Crisis' what about deforestation?
The global economy is losing more money from the disappearance of forests than through the current banking crisis, according to an EU-commissioned study. It puts the annual cost of forest loss at between $2 trillion and $5 trillion whereas Wall Street has, by various calculations, lost between $1-$1.5 trillion so far. |
