Each of us, on the team at Van Walt, knows that it is your continued support which sustains us and allows us to grow - thank you.

We're on the road!

For some time now part of our service offering has been to provide you with the right product together with the right training - so you can use it immediately and effectively. Our extensive experience in the field is available to you in a professional, friendly way by telephone or email. In addition, you are always welcome to visit us or we will come to you and - the best part is - most of this training and advice is completely free.

Keeping abreast of what's new from Holland

Not only do we train but we get trained too. One of the most important areas of our own development at Van Walt is our regular visits to one of our key suppliers - Eijkelkamp Agrisearch Equipment in Holland. Recently two members of our team - Ikky and Yvonne - attended the Eijkelkamp Distributor Conference in Giesbeek to catch up with fellow distributors in the worldwide network; to review the opportunities for new products; receive refresher training; look at the impact of globalisation and review best practice across the industry and network.

We go that 'little bit further', but don't just take our word for it...

A recent message from one of our customers...

Tom & Vincent

A quick thank you for arranging, and then going to my site in Wolverhampton - it really was a big help, and saved me an awful lot of hassle - so was much appreciated.

I hope you are well, thank you again for your continuing support to my projects.

Best wishes...

Our aim is to provide you with excellent service - every time. If you want us to come on site, demonstrate our equipment, visit other members of your team - please ask. We do this as part of our service and to ensure you get the most from the equipment you take from us. We don't do it for the praise - but it's always nice when we receive it! Thank you.

We don’t do it often...

but when we do - introduce new products - it's the result of much research and investigation to make sure they're the best available on the market, excellent value and what our customers - you - need.

Getting the right pump for the job is essential

And at Van Walt we have almost a century of experience between the members of our team about different pumps, when to use the various types and what are the limitations and benefits of each. Getting the right pump for your requirements is vital, as too is the practice of always stating the type of pump you have used when reporting your findings. That's why we have produced a Pump Comparison Table - it's free to download from our website at or call 01428 661 660 and we will email you a copy.

Environmental science goes mainstream

It would seem that our industry has finally gone mainstream. Every time you open a newspaper, surf the net, watch the news or catch a political speech - the environment is mentioned. Good news for us but filtering what's interesting and relevant can be hard and judging what will catch the attention of people 'on the outside' is even more challenging but grabbing their attention we must if we want to continue to keep the environment at the forefront of everyone's thinking. That's why, in case you haven't found it, a visit to the BBC's online Green Room is a must.

e-SENSE telemetry in China

In China more and more people are aware of the need to monitor the quality and quantity of groundwater - that's why a project has been established - using e-SENSE telemetry to measure how the groundwater flows now and how it will flow in the future in this huge country.
